Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Ronald Zuker. Dr. Zuker is a giant in microsurgery and pediatric plastic surgery. He is a professor at The University of Toronto.

February 2023: Speaker – Dr. Brian Thornton

Our first dinner program of the year will be on Thursday, February 9th, 2023.

Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Brian Thornton MD, MBA, PhD . Dr. Thornton practices in Louisville, KY and is a clinical faculty member of The University of Kentucky.

He will share his insights and clinical pearls to optimize aesthetic outcomes in breast reconstructive surgery.

December 2022: Speaker – Dr. Suhail Kanchwala

Our fifth and final dinner program of the year will be on Friday, December 2nd, 2022.

Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Suhail Kanchwala M.D, from The University of Pennsylvania.

He will discuss his experience using Durasorb – a bioresorbable mesh within the context of reconstructive surgery.

The program will be at Rye Leawood, 10551 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206. Rye Leawood is located within Mission Farms.

October 2022: Speaker – Dr. William Hickerson

Our fourth dinner program will be on October 20th, 2022.

Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. William Hickerson M.D, from The University of Tennesee at Memphis. He is the past director and founder of the Firefighter’s Burn Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.

He will discuss using and optimizing an autologous skin cell suspension to treat acute burn injuries. This will include his experience using the Recell, a novel device that enables a user to create a suspension of sprayable skin cells derived from the patient’s skin to treat thermal injury.

Our third dinner program will be on September 29th, 2022.

Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Edward Chang from The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

He will discuss innovative reconstructive solutions from a surgeon’s perspective. This will include his experience using the Lipografter, a novel closed circuit system designed for the harvest and grafting of autologous fat.
